Membership in the Canadian Club of Norway is very affordable! The annual fee is just NOK 150 for families and NOK 100 for individuals.
Why become a member? Canadian Club members get an invitation to attend the Christmas party and get discounts on annual events (e.g. Canada day, the Halloween party). Membership fees also help support the club and ensure that we continue monthly pub nights, yearly events, and information evenings. It is a yearly membership which means that if you join in 2020, you get entrance/discounts to events that occur in 2020, for example.
To join, just fill out and submit the form below, then pay the membership fee by giro or "nettbank" to:
Canadian Club of Norway
attn: Campbell Day
Account no.: 0539 58 35558

Wondering what the fees are used for? This website, for one thing. There are expenses throughout the year that we encounter. As well the Embassy and Official Residence requires us to pay more now than a few years back. Yes, we supply our own coffee, tea, cream and sugar when we host events at the OR. We try to break even with club events like the Halloween Party, but sometimes we have to dip into the account to cover a shortfall. However, membership dues do NOT go towards the Canada Day picnic or the annual golf tournament or ski weekend, which finance themselves.
