Information Evening with the Ambassador

Tuesday, February 5, 2008 was the Information Evening with the Ambassador. A very good turnout of 40 people with a good mix of club members and some new faces. We heard about the current events in Canada, including Canada's involvement in Afghanistan, Norwegian-Canadian business cooperation and possibilities for people from either country to work and study within Canada and Norway.

The Canadian Club President gave an update of club events scheduled for the first half of 2008 and also some preliminary results for the survey sent out in January. If you have not filled out your questionnaire please do so as soon as possible.

Coffee and dessert were served, and we were able to become better acquainted with one another. Special thanks to Gabriele Haddrath, Glenn Martin and Jay Gustafson for their work at organizing a very successful evening.
